"Along with our mission of creativity, we have a vision to use our company and values to impact the world in a positive way."

Julie Fujii

Artist

Julie Fujii is the artist behind Create In Me. Her children, Daniel and Emi Fujii, help run the business.

At the age of 27, Julie was given the opportunity to continue to either climb the corporate ladder in Beverly Hills as a computer systems manager or trade in her childhood crayons for professional art supplies. Her husband chose to push her over the edge of her comfort zone and into the depths of the uncharted waters of her childhood dream: “When I grow up, I want to be an artist.”

What started as a small table at a local arts and crafts event has evolved into an international business featuring creative multi-cultural characters that delight kids and adults alike.

As the business grew, Create in Me created cultural workshops for organizations like The Japanese American National Museum, The Japanese American Community and Cultural Center, Long Beach Children’s Museum of Art, and The Temecula Matsuri Festival. Julie says it was a blessing to be able to use her art as a tool to educate people about the rich Japanese American culture.

Daniel Fujii

Business Manager

Daniel grew up at craft fairs alongside his working parents and is now using his innovative ideas and vision to expand the business of Create in Me to a new level as well as concentrate on its humanitarian efforts to help those in need. He was instrumental in sending Create in Me products to the survivors of Touhoku, Japan.

Emi Fujii

Photographer & Graphic Designer

Emi captures all of the artistry of Create in Me with her photographic talents, helping to define the Create in Me brand. She is also the graphic designer and plays a key role in developing new products. She enjoys finding opportunities for our company to help those in need locally and globally.
